FRY PAN FRUIT BALLS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. dates, chopped
2 whole eggs
Pinch salt (omit if desired)
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/4 c. candied cherries
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Set control of electric fry pan at 220 degrees. Melt butter; add dates and salt if desired. Cream sugar and eggs. Add to fry pan mixture. Cook until thick, stirring all the time, cool. Then, add flavorings and all other ingredients. Form into small balls. Roll in coconut. Will keep well in refrigerator or freezer. Serve cold or at room temperature.
