CHOCOLATE CARAMEL CAKE 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. bag caramels
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix cake as per box. Pour 1/2 inch 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. In a saucepan melt caramels with butter and milk. Pour over baked cake. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. Pour on remaining batter. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
