DOWN SOUTH BARBECUE 
2 onions, sliced
4 to 5 lbs. pork roast
5 whole cloves
1 (16 oz.) commercial barbecue sauce or your own sauce
1 onion, chopped
2 c. water

Place half of sliced onions in bottom of slow cooker. Add meat and other ingredients with remaining sliced onion on top. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours or overnight. Remove bone and fat from meat and return meat to crock pot. Add chopped onion and sauce. Cover, cook additional 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours on high. Stir 2 or 3 times. Serve on bun. If you like, with coleslaw.
