STEAK AND GRAVY | |
2-3 lbs. any cut of steak 1/2 c. black coffee 1/2 c. vinegar 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. ginger Salt and pepper to taste Place steak in 9 x 13 inch oven-safe dish. Cover with liquid ingredients and cook in oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until steak is tender. Remove from oven and thicken gravy with 1 cup milk and 1 heaping tablespoon flour. Return to oven for approximately 15 minutes or until gravy is thick. Saute 1 large onion and 1 large bell pepper in butter. Serve steak and gravy over rice and top with sauteed onion and pepper. |
