APPLE DUMPLINGS 
4 apples
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. allspice
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 c. sugar
2 c. water

Cook butter, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and brown sugar. Put a spoonful in each apple; cover apples with syrup.

To make the syrup, boil sugar and water. Make pie crust to wrap around the apples.

Bake for 1 hour at 350°F.
