RED BEANS AND RICE 
1 lb. dried red beans
3 qts. water
1 lb. diced, cooked ham
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 bay leaves
Hot cooked rice

Bring to boil. Reduce to medium heat and cook 40 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except rice, and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Mash some of the beans against side of pan. Stir well; cover and bring to boil. Reduce to medium heat and cook, uncovered, 1 hour or until done. Stir often. Remove bay leaves and serve over hot rice.
