SUMMER SALAD 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
1 pkg. green beans
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. bacon bits or cooked crumbled bacon
1 lg. green pepper, sliced
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Garlic salt
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 tbsp. red pepper
2 tbsp. oil

Cook macaroni and drain well. Cook green beans and drain. Boil 1 egg until hard boiled. Put cooked, cool macaroni in salad bowl. Add vegetables and egg which has been cut in wedges. Add bacon. Mix mayonnaise and oil and pour over salad. Mix well. Top off with a dash of garlic salt.
