OYSTER DRESSING 
1 qt. fresh oysters, drained
1/2 lb. fresh saltine crackers
1 stick butter
Salt & pepper
1 1/2 c. milk

Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch Pyrex baking dish with Pam or butter. Crumble a 1/2 inch layer of crackers on bottom of pan. Place a layer of oysters on crackers. Dot with 1/2 pats of butter, salt and pepper lightly. Add another layer of crackers and oysters and dot again with butter. Top layer is crackers.

Dot again with butter and pepper, omit salt this layer. Pour enough milk over all to thoroughly moisten within 1/2 inch top edge of casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until bubbly and lightly browned. Serve with baked turkey or ham.
