CHILI LASAGNA 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. noodles
3/4 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cheese slices, cut in 1/2 inch strips
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/4 c. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles, drain, set aside. Brown ground beef, green pepper and onion until tender and lightly browned. Add tomatoes (smashed) and tomato paste, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cook until mixture boils.

In 13 x 9 inch baking dish, spread 3/4 cup chili sauce mixture. Layer 1/3 of noodles; spread 1/3 of remaining sauce over noodles; top with 1/3 of cheese strips. Repeat layers twice, arranging last cheese strips over top in attractive pattern. Bake 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. 9 servings.
