GAIL'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 tbsp. oil
1 onion, lg., chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 lbs. ground beef, browned
1 tbsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. Beau Monde
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
15 oz. tomatoes, stewed and diced
30 oz. tomato sauce

Simmer onion and garlic in oil. Set aside when transparent. Brown ground beef, add to onion mixture along with spices. In Dutch oven combine all ingredients. Simmer uncovered at least 30 minutes. The longer the better. Also, a perfect sauce for lasagna. Serves 6.
