BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
5 tbsp. (melted) butter

Mix eggs, sugar, buttermilk, flour, cornmeal, vanilla, salt and nutmeg until blended well. Stir in melted butter. Pour into pie shell (unbaked). Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour until filling is set. Insert a knife to see if it comes out clean.
