TEXAS PECAN PIE 
4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 (9-inch) pie shell

In mixing bowl, beat the egg until foamy. Add sugar and mix until well mixed. Stir in pecans, vanilla and salt. Pour the mixture into pie shell and bake 10 minutes in a 425 degree oven. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until filling is firm and the crust is lightly brown.
