SAUSAGE CHILI 
1 lb. sausage
1 lb. can red kidney beans
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
Cayenne pepper (optional)
1 lb. can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2-3 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. oregano

Crumble and fry sausage and onion together until sausage is lightly cooked. Drain. Add beans. Crush tomatoes and add with their juice. Combine all other ingredients and add to pot. Simmer, uncovered, for an hour or more. Serves 4.
