HALLOWEEN SPIDER CAKE 
When cake is cut, it spurts green goop!

1 pkg. white cake mix (your favorite)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. green jello

Prepare cake and jello according to package directions. Except use two (9-inch) round cake pans for the cake. Allow cakes and jello to cool.

Cut a smaller circle out of one cake and using it as the head. Arrange head and body pieces on a platter. Fill the hole left over with jello. Place the other layer on top and trim to shape.

BLACK FROSTING:

1 (16 oz.) tub prepared chocolate frosting
blue food coloring

In a mixing bowl, add blue food coloring to chocolate frosting until black in color.

Frost cake black.

SPIDER DECORATION:

4 long black licorice strings, cut in half
2 big green gum balls
6 little gum balls

Use the black licorice for spider legs and gum balls as eyes.
