DUTCH APPLE CAKE 
This is a recipe given to me by my mother.

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. peeled apples coated with cinnamon and sugar

Mix butter, sugar and eggs together, add flour and baking powder. Add milk and vanilla. Spread into a greased jelly roll pan. Press apples into dough. Add sprinklings of sugar, cinnamon and butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
