AUNTIE HONEY'S FAMOUS BEACON
HILL COOKIES
 
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 egg whites
Dash of salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. vinegar
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped coarsely

In double boiler, melt chocolate chips over simmering water. Beat egg whites with dash of salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating well until stiff peaks are formed. Beat in vanilla and vinegar. Fold in melted chocolate and walnuts (it will look streaked, but that's ok). Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Makes 36 cookies.
