SOUR CREAM CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE | |
1 stick butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 8 oz. sour cream 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. nuts, chopped 1 can whole cranberry sauce 1 tsp. almond extract 3/4 c. confectioners' sugar 1 tbsp. water Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and sour cream. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Grease tube pan. Add half the mixture. Put cranberry sauce in middle over batter. Add remaining batter over top of cranberry sauce. Put nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. To make icing mix together last 3 ingredients and drizzle over cake when cool. |
