BACON ROLL UPS 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. water
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 to 2/3 lb. bacon
1 1/2 c. herb-seasoned stuffing mix
1/4 lb. sausage

Melt butter over hot water in saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in stuffing mix. Add egg and sausage. Blend thoroughly and chill for easy handling. Cut bacon strips in thirds. Shape mixture into oblong balls size of pecans. Wrap with bacon. Fasten with toothpick. Place on rack in shallow pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until brown and crisp. Turn at halfway baking time.
