PEANUT BUTTER BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 c. chunk style peanut butter 1 c. rolled oats, any kind 1 beaten egg 1 c. milk (skim works fine) Mix up dry ingredients. Cut in peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add oats, egg, milk. Stir just until blended. Pour batter into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Cool, cut and serve with jelly, if desired. Good toasted. Makes 1 loaf. |
