3 c. boiling water 1 c. cornmeal 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 c. cold water Mix cornmeal, flour, salt and cold water. Pour into boiling water, stirring constantly. Cook until thick. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Serve in bowls with milk and sugar or place in baking pan. Bake 1/2 hour at 325 degrees. Slice, fry in butter. Serve with maple syrup. |
