1 stick butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 can cherries
1/2 c. water
2 c. sugar
Red cake coloring

Mix cherries, water, 2 cups sugar and coloring. Pour over the batter made of the other ingredients. Cook in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes.
