1/2 c. cornstarch
1 c. cold water
1 env. unflavored gelatin
2 c. hot water
1/2 c. soap flakes

Combine starch and 3/4 cup cold water. Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. Stir hot water slowly into starch mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until clear. Remove from heat. Blend in softened gelatin. Stir in soap until dissolved. Add tempra or food coloring. Divide for different colors if desired. Store in air tight containers. Provide shelf paper, butcher paper or newspaper and let the children have fun.
