CREEPING CRUST COBBLER 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 c. or less of sugar
2 c. fruit - peaches, apricots, raspberries

Melt the butt in a 10 inch baking dish. Mix together flour, sugar and baking powder. Add milk and mix. Spoon over the melted butter in pan. Heat fresh or canned fruit with sugar, adjusting the amount of sugar if the fruit is canned. Pour over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Crust will rise to top. Serve warm or cold.
