JAM BARS (MICROWAVE) 
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. quick cook oats
1/4 c. butter, cut into pieces
1/3 c. jam (apricot, raspberry or strawberry)
1 tbsp. chopped walnuts

In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar, oats. Using 2 knives on a pantry blender, cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. Pat 2/3 of crumb mix into a 4x3 inch microwave safe dish. Spread jam over crumb mix. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 crumb mix, then nuts. Press down.

Microwave on 100% for 5 minutes or until mix is set and jam begins to bubble around edges. Cool to room temperature.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
