JAM BARS (MICROWAVE) | |
1/2 c. flour 1/3 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. quick cook oats 1/4 c. butter, cut into pieces 1/3 c. jam (apricot, raspberry or strawberry) 1 tbsp. chopped walnuts In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar, oats. Using 2 knives on a pantry blender, cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. Pat 2/3 of crumb mix into a 4x3 inch microwave safe dish. Spread jam over crumb mix. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 crumb mix, then nuts. Press down. Microwave on 100% for 5 minutes or until mix is set and jam begins to bubble around edges. Cool to room temperature. |
