MICROWAVE BAR-B-Q SAUCE 
2 tbsp. butter
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
3/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Few drops Tabasco sauce, to taste

Place butter, onion, garlic and green pepper in a deep, 1 1/2 quart, heat- resistant, non-metallic bowl and heat on full power 3 minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally.

Add remaining ingredients; stir well to combine. Heat, uncovered on full power 2 minutes or until sauce bubbles. Serve over meat or poultry. Makes 2 1/4 cups.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
