LENTIL/COUS-COUS SOUP 
1 qt. water
1/2 c. lentils
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. curry powder
Salt to taste
1/4 c. cous-cous
1 green onion, minced
1 tbsp. minced cilantro (if available)

Bring water to boil. Add lentils and cook until tender. Add turmeric, curry powder, salt and cous-cous. Simmer for five minutes. Garnish with green onion and optional cilantro. Ready to serve! Serves 4.
