CHOCOLATE CREME DE MENTHE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) bottle Hershey's syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
2 c. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. creme de menthe
1 c. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, flour, salt, syrup, and vanilla. Pour into a 13 x 9 inch pan (greased and floured). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. Mix butter, powdered sugar, and creme de menthe; stir until smooth. Spread on cooled cake. Melt chips and butter in double boiler or in microwave for 75 seconds. Let cool. Spread on top of creme de menthe layer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
