LEMON CREAM PIE 
2 c. milk
3 tbsp. cornstarch (little more than level)
2 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
Grated rind & juice of 2 lemons
1 baked pie shell
2 egg whites for meringue

Heat milk in double boiler, add cornstarch. Beat egg yolks with sugar. Add to above. When it thickens, add grated rind and juice of lemons. Add a tablespoon of butter. Pour in baked pie shell. Beat egg white for the top and spread. Bake in 400 degree oven.
