MARY MARTHA MAY'S PEACH KUCHEN 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 well beaten egg
Scant 1/3 c. milk
6-7 peaches
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. mace

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Work in butter and add egg and milk. Lightly press into greased jelly roll pan (10x13 inch) to approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Slice peaches 3/4 to 1 inch thick. Place peach slices on dough. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and mace together and sprinkle on top of peaches. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 25-30 minutes. Apples, blueberries or plums may also be used.
