1 lb. butter 1 lb. cottage cheese 4 c. regular flour, unsifted FILLING: 1 1/2 lbs. ground nuts 1 1/2 c. sugar Milk to make of spreading consistency 1. Blend butter and cheese (with hands, add flour to form dough). 2. Make 1" balls (walnut size or smaller). 3. Refrigerate overnight. 4. Roll out balls in mixture of 1/2 flour, 1/2 sugar, 1 at a time. 5. Spread filling, roll and form into crescent shape. 6. Dip top in milk and sprinkle with sugar. 7. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 29 minutes. Makes approximately 100 Nut Horns. |
