1 can apple pie filling

Prepare 2 layer cake according to package directions. When cool spread pie filling over first layer. Top with second layer. Spoon remaining pie filling to within 1-inch of edge of top layer. Frost side and top edge with Apple Crown Frosting (recipe in frosting).
