ONION - SAGE DRESSING 
3/4 stick butter
2 onions, chopped
1/2 lb. bread, pulled into sm. pieces
Milk
1 egg
1 can cream of celery soup
1 tsp. ground sage
A little salt & pepper

Brown onions in butter. Remove from stove and add other ingredients (enough milk to be sloppy but not to sit on top after stirring - about 1 1/2 to 2 cups). Bake in uncovered 2 quart dish at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Will be light brown on top. Serves 6 to 8.
