WILD RICE & PORK CHOPS 
1 c. wild rice
8 slices bacon
1 med. size onion
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
6 pork chops

Wash rice well. Cover generously with hot water and boil for 5 minutes. Drain. Rinse with hot water. Cover again with water and salt. Bring to boil and cook 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Add seasonings and toss to blend well. Place mix in large baking dish. Brown chops well on both sides. Add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Place over rice. Cover and set pan in pan of hot water. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours.
