1 whole chicken
1/4 c. butter
Salt and pepper to season
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash, salt and pepper chicken and place on foil in pan. Spread Worcestershire sauce on top. Place butter inside cavity of chicken and onions. Wrap in foil and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on size of chicken.

DIRTY RICE:

1 stick butter
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 sm. can drained mushrooms
2 c. white rice
2 cans consomme

Melt butter and saute onions in skillet. Add rice and stir until rice is browned. Pour into covered casserole. Add mushrooms, consomme and stir well. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Delicious served with chicken.
