DIRTY RICE DRESSING CASSEROLE | |
2 c. dry rice 2 lbs. ground meat (you may use giblets also, if desired, but not necessary) 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 2 can French onion soup (You can substitute 2 cans beef bouillon instead of soup, if so, saute 1 lg. onion along with bell pepper) 1 c. water 2 bell pepper 1 pod garlic, chopped (optional) 1 stalk celery, diced (optional) Brown meat; add bell pepper. Add garlic and celery, also if you decide to use them and saute awhile. Add rice and soups and mix. Be sure casserole is tightly covered. Bake in 350 or 325 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add more water, if needed. Cut recipe in half, if feeding fewer people. The above recipe serves about 12 or more people. |
