1 lb. Jimmy Dean Sausage (hot variety, if desired) 1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 (5 lb.) box of Kraft Velveeta cheese 1/2 c. Jalapeno peppers, chopped (more if hotter dip is desired) 4 tomatoes, cut in quarters Brown sausage and hamburger and drain. Saute onions until transparent but not browned. Cut up cheese into 2 inch chunks. Put all ingredients into a crock pot. Stir occasionally while heating. Can be prepared ahead and frozen or refrigerated. Small quantities can be heated in microwave. Serve with tostado chips or crackers. |
