COUNTRY STYLE HOT DOG RELISH 
1/2 c. salt
4 c. onions, cut up
4 c. cabbage
12 green peppers
10 green tomatoes

Grind onions, cabbage, green peppers and green tomatoes and sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt. Let stand overnight then rinse and drain. Combine:

2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
6 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar

Pour over ground mix. Bring to a full boil. Seal in sterilized jars.
