DUTCH APPLE DESSERT 
5 med. all purpose apples, pared, cored, and sliced (about 5 cups)
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. cold butter
1 1/2 c. biscuit baking mix
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine apples, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon. Cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup biscuit mix until crumbly. Stir in apple mixture. Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Combine remaining 1/2 cup biscuit mix and sugar. Cut in remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Add nuts. Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake 1 hour or until golden. Serve warm with ice cream.
