2 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 egg yolk with enough milk to make 2/3 c.
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Beaten egg white
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2/3 c. crushed corn flakes
5 slices apples

Mix flour, tablespoon of sugar, salt, and shortening; add the egg yolk and milk. Make into two balls. Roll out one ball to make bottom crust. Put crust into jelly roll pan. Cover with corn flakes; put on sliced apples. Mix the sugar with cinnamon and put over apples.

Roll out second ball and put it as top crust. Brush on egg white. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice. Drizzle on top.
