CUSTARD BREAD PUDDING 
3 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
6 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 slices bread, cubed

Mix milk, sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla together, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Place cubed bread in pyrex pan and pour milk mixture over cubes. Let soak 10 minutes, until bread is well saturated.

Place pyrex pan in shallow water bath (1/2 inch water depth) in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, or until silver knife inserted comes out clean.
