BREAD PUDDING WITH SAUCE 
1 loaf French bread
1 qt. milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. raisins
Cinnamon to taste

Tear bread into small pieces and soak in milk mixture. Mix well. Add beaten eggs, sugar, vanilla and raisins. Melt butter and pour into bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Pour mixture in pan and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 30 to 40 minutes or until set.

SAUCE:

1/4 lb. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 beaten egg
Almond extract and vanilla

Cook butter and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add egg, being careful not to curdle the mixture. Cool and add almond extract (1/2 teaspoon) and vanilla (1/2 teaspoon). Pour over warm bread pudding.
