BREAD PUDDING WITH BLACK JACK SAUCE | |
3 c. sour dough bread 1 pt. + 1 c. milk 2 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 c. pecans Mix bread and pecans in baking dish. Mix milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla and butter. Pour over bread and pecans. Bake at 350 degrees until firm, 30 to 40 minutes. BLACK JACK SAUCE: 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. half and half 1 oz. bourbon Mix together, cook at low boil. Spoon over individual servings. |
