TOMATO BUTTER | |
8 lbs. tomatoes, peeled & chopped 4 lbs. sugar 4 lemons Place juice and rind of 1 lemon and a small handful of whole cloves in spice bag. (Remove before putting jell in jars). Cook tomato mixture until clear and thick. Place into jars and cover with paraffin. Makes 7 medium jars. Great way to use up the extra tomatoes from the garden. |
