ALLYSON'S SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE | |
28 oz. can sweet potatoes 1/2 stick melted butter 2 beaten eggs 1-2 tbsp. milk 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. flour 1 stick melted butter 1 c. chopped pecans, optional 1st Layer: In a mixing bowl, mash the drained sweet potatoes. Add the beaten eggs and melted butter and mix thoroughly. Add milk if too thick. Place mixture in a 9 x 13 inch pan. 2nd Layer: In a mixing bowl, mix the brown sugar and flour. Mix in the melted butter and spoon over the first layer. 3rd Layer (optional) : Sprinkle on 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. |
