CRISP PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour (use a little more)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter, peanut butter and sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla; add flour, baking powder and soda and mix well blended. Make into a ball and chill until easily handled. Make into balls and criss-cross with a fork. Bake cookies 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
