APPLE PIE 
Pastry for 9" double crust pie
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Dash of salt
1 #2 can sliced pie apples or 6 med. size tart, fresh apples
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour

Blend together the sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, cinnamon and salt. Toss lightly with apples. Spoon into pastry-lined pan. Combine butter, brown sugar and flour; sprinkle over pie filling. Cover with top crust and cut slits in top of crust. Bake at 425 degrees about 35-40 minutes.
