TID-TILLS' TOMATO RELISH 
4 quarts tomatoes
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 large onions, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
Several dashes red pepper

Mix all ingredients. Cook for 2-3 hours or until desired thickness. Taste along the way and add more ingredients if needed. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
