RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in flour, salt and nuts until they hold together. Shape into 1 inch ball. Put on ungreased pan for 10 to 12 minutes. Solid not brown. While warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. After cold, roll again in sugar. 4 dozen.
