Russian Poppy Seed Cookies 
1 cup butter
1/4 cup Confectioner's Sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp. Water
2 cups Flour
1/4 cup Poppy Seeds

1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

2. Cream butter and sugar.

3. Add Vanilla extract and water.

4. Mix in flour.

5. Blend in poppy seeds.

6. Form into small finger shaped rolls, 1 1/2 inches long.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes or until delicately browned.
