CHOCOLATE CRINKLES 
2 c. & 2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. In large bowl beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs until mixture is pale yellow. Add vanilla and chocolate until blended. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing just to blend. Refrigerate 1 hour.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Shape a heaping teaspoon dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Place 1 1/2 inch apart. Bake 12 minutes until tops are puffed and cracked. Store lightly covered. Can also dip tops in sugar. Makes 52.
